Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 19, 2026

Short version: We use only essential storage (localStorage for your auth token). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Build2Element primarily uses localStorage (browser storage) rather than traditional cookies, but this policy covers all client-side storage mechanisms we use.

What We Store

NameTypePurposeExpiry
b2e_token localStorage Stores your JWT authentication token to keep you logged in across sessions. 30 days (JWT expiry) or until you log out

What We Do NOT Use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Third-party analytics trackers (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Fingerprinting or device identification scripts

Third-Party Services

If you use AI enhancement features, layout data is sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI may have its own data practices. No personal data is included in these requests. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details.

Managing Storage

You can clear your stored data at any time by:

  • Logging out of Build2Element (clears the auth token)
  • Clearing your browser's localStorage via DevTools (Application → Local Storage)
  • Using your browser's "Clear browsing data" feature

Clearing the auth token will log you out of the Service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
